Short Column: an Experience of Research Presentation
───────────────────────────────────────────
We would like to send you an experience of a colleague who presented his research at previous
conference (PRRC in 2005, Taiwan).
Three years ago, I presented my research at main congress of PRRC in Taiwan. Since it was my first conference presentation in English, I felt hesitation about it. Yet, it turned out to be a very exciting and fruitful experience. Especially, it was impressive that I had a very meaningful discussion with experts from other countries, which helped me to advance my study forward. Additionally, a large fruit of PRRC was that I was able to submit its achievement to an international journal (Ishikawa, Y. & Kotani, H. (2005). “On Jokes: A Technique of Creating Psychological Safe Space for Schizophrenic Patients” International Journal of Counseling and Psychotherapy, 3, 93-97.) .
