Please follow the steps below when you submit the proposal.
C. Case Study Presentations and Discussions
  1. Prepare an Abstract.
    1. To submit an Abstract, begin by downloading the Abstract template via the link at the bottom of this page.
    2. The Abstract is limited to 500 words in English.
    3. The Abstract must not contain bibliographical references, images, tables, diagrams, graphs or appendices.
    4. Abstracts for Case Study Presentations and Discussions can be adjusted to a degree but are expected to be in basic accordance with the following structured format:
      • Title of the Abstract (not more than 20 words)
      • Author (s) and their affiliation (s)
      • Aims
      • Background review
      • Methods
      • Results
      • Conclusion (avoid evasive statements like “the findings will be discussed”)
      • Acknowledgements - these include grant support (including the grant number), and disclosure of any financial relationship the author (s) may have with the manufacturer/supplier of any commercial products or services related to the work reported in the Abstract.
  2. Proposals will be accepted beginning December 1st, 2007.
  3. Fill out the submission form and attach the abstract you have made in line with the template.
    * If you would like to sign up for a Case Study Presentation and Discussion, please indicate required equipment [Power Point or OHP] in the Questionnaire section of the submission form.
  4. DEADLINE for submission of proposals is Fri, April, 11th, 2008.
NOTES:
  • Acceptance of proposals does not imply any commitment on the part of the organizing committee to provide financial assistance to the presenter. Only registered participants who have paid the registration fee will be permitted to present their papers.
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the Abstract before submission to the Scientific Program Committee (SPC).
  • Submissions are accepted on the understanding that the work has been conducted with the permission of any relevant ethical or legislative body.
  • Submission form will be displayed at the bottom of this page on December 2007 when the submission of proposals starts.
ABSTRACT SELECTION AND PRESENTATION
  1. The SPC will review Abstracts and results will be forwarded to each corresponding author within six weeks.
  2. Accepted Abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.
