Call for Proposals
Please follow the steps below when you submit the proposal.
E. Workshops
  1. Prepare an Abstract.
    1. To submit an Abstract, begin by downloading the Abstract template via the link at the bottom of this page.
    2. The Abstract is limited to 500 words in English.
    3. Workshop Abstracts must be presented in accordance with the following structured format:
      • Title of the workshop (not more than 20 words)
      • Trainer (s) and trainer affiliation (s)
      • Course Objectives (List three learning objectives for your program offering)
        * Please do not list your teaching goals for the workshop.
        * Please include what the participants will be able to do after having attended your workshop.
      • Course Description (250 words or less)
        * Please do not include participants’ learning objectives in the description.
      • Significant Articles
        * List three suggested readings related to the subject of the program offering. The articles should be written in APA format.
        * Please do not include more than one article written by the trainer (s).
      • Teaching Methods (didactic, experiential, demonstration, or sharing of work experience)
  2. Proposals will be accepted beginning December 1st, 2007.
  3. Fill out the submission form and attach the abstract you have made in line with the template.
    * Please indicate the size of the workshop (expected number of the participants)[small (8), medium (20), large (more than 50)] , the number of sessions [one session (2 hours), two sessions (4 hours)] , and the method of instructing [Power Point, OHP, Video, Handouts, or Others]in the Questionnaire section of the submission form.
  4. DEADLINE for submission of proposals is Fri, April, 11th, 2008.
NOTES:
  • Acceptance of proposals does not imply any commitment on the part of the organizing committee to provide financial assistance to the presenter. Only registered participants who have paid the registration fee will be permitted to present their papers.
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-trainers are aware of the content of the Abstract before submission to the Scientific Program Committee (SPC).
  • Submissions are accepted on the understanding that the workshop will be conducted with the permission of any relevant ethical or legislative body.
  • Submission form will be displayed at the bottom of this page on December 2007 when the submission of proposals starts.
ABSTRACT SELECTION AND PRESENTATION
  1. The SPC will review Abstracts and results will be forwarded to each corresponding author within six weeks.
  2. Accepted Abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.
